The robins have returned. A small flock was perched momentarily on the tree across the street. I haven’t seen them for at least a week and a half, perhaps two. I have no idea where they went. If I didn’t happen to look up and notice them I might not have known that they have returned, for they didn’t stay for very long, flying off and disappearing as quickly as they appeared.
